When you receive this letter this day will have passed already. But receive my sincere congratulations on this special day. This evening I saw your interview with Mr Matt Lauer of NBC from the United States of America. Of course this year will stand in the spotlights of the death of Your Mother ten years ago. And I do need to say that both of us lost Your Mother on that terrible 31st of August 1997. So unfortunately these congratulations are congratulations with a black lining. That's why I ordered TRAFFORD PUBLISHING to send you a copy of my book LETTERS TO DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES. I hope you will have received the book from BUCKINGHAM PALACE, where it should have been delivered. I was motivated by an announcement at SKY NEWS on last 13th of June that you and Harry want to know everything about what happenend in that tunnel in Paris. My book contains all the letters that I sent to your mother as from the 28th of August 1996, the date of Her divorce. I am convinced that She knew everything about my plan INSTITUTO CERVANTES BENELUX and the FOUNDATION CERVANTES BENELUX that I founded on the 8th of October 1992. At the time that She started Her own Quixotic Quest in August 1996 you and Harry were only 14 and 13 years old and I know that your MUM kept everything completely secret until She could announce Her relationship with me. As you can read in my book I followed your personal developments with greatest care trying to solve the personal problems that Your Parents had at the time. That's why I invited Her on the 28th of December 1996 to become My Wife and to start a new Family Company Van der Heyden/Spencer with the name Instituto Cervantes Benelux, England and Wales. On behalf of your education I went to Eton College on the 23d of April 1997 and had there a conversation with your and your mother's bodyguard Sergeant David Sharp. He had copies of all my letters and advised me to continue writing and told me that I would receive an official reaction from Kensington Palace to my proposal in the first week of September. So I was convinced that She had accepted my invitation to come and live in The Netherlands with me. Her life was ruined however as from the 14th of July 1997. Your MUM was very vulnerable at that time because of the death of Mr Gianni Versace and She needed protection. So I think that has been the cause that She fell into the wrong hands in Park Lane. As You stated in the interview you have learned much about taking responsibilities. In this sense I hope you have not lost my letter that I delivered on your behalf at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on the 28th of December 1999. You are still my legal heir to the Limited Company Instituto Cervantes England and Wales and I sincerely hope that you will also take up your responsibilities in that matter as I expect from you. Enclosed you find copy of the Christmas- and New Year's card that I also sent to your grandmother Queen Elizabeth and the reaction I received back on Her behalf. I am grateful for your initiative to organize the concert at the Wembley Stadium next first of July celebrating Her 46th birthday. Although I still consider myself as Her legal partner and unmarried widower I still did not receive an invitation for the Concert. Therefore I request you to arrange a ticket for me next to you and Harry and send it BY EXPRESS to: MR.
